Marcelo is a lawyer with extensive experience in criminal law and human rights litigation. He has acted as defence counsel in over 150 oral trials across the world. His professional background also includes more than ten years of expertise in administrative criminal defence for Internal Affairs within the Ministry of Security of the Province of Buenos Aires. Marcelo’s practice is characterised by his commitment to ensuring due process and justice, especially in complex criminal cases involving public administration and institutional accountability.
Marcelo earned his law degree from the Faculty of Legal Sciences at the National University of La Plata. He holds a specialisation in Criminal Law and a Master’s in Criminal Law and Criminalistics from Universidad Austral. In addition to his litigation work, Marcelo served as Coordinator of the Intellectual Event at the Ibero-American Congress on Criminal Procedural Law held at the Colegio de Abogados de La Plata (Institute of Criminal Procedural Law) and as Secretary of the Institute of Criminal Law at the Colegio de Abogados de La Plata. His legal expertise and dedication to justice have made him a valuable advocate in both criminal and administrative proceedings.
